Why do you only stock GIA diamonds?

We only stock diamonds certified by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America). This is the original and best diamond grading laboratory in the world. It introduced the 4 Cs grading scale to the world and are extremely strict with their grading. If a diamond falls between two classifications, the GIA will grade it down. Purchasing a GIA graded diamond ensures you have chosen the very best quality money can buy. We have chosen to sell exclusively GIA graded diamonds as their reputation is unrivalled and each diamond is inscribed with its own unique number which links it to its individual certificate. We have a special microscope which magnifies up to 200 times

I have seen a ring on your website can I try it on?

Yes, get in touch to let us know which design you are interested in and we can arrange an appointment in store for you.

Do I need to make an appointment to come in to store?

You don’t have to make an appointment in order to visit the store but if there is a specific design you would like to view the it is best to make an appointment so that we can prepare items for you.

Can you re-size my ring if I'm not certain of the fingersize?

At Diamond Quarter we offer complimentary re-sizing for your rings, which takes approximately one week. Full diamond set eternities and wedding rings  are excluded from this service as they cannot be sized.

Can you re-polish my ring?

We provide a complimentary polishing service for our customers including re-plating of white gold, this will take about a week. If you would like to arrange for your rings to be re-polished this can be done easily in store, just bring a copy of your original receipt. If you would like to return the rings to us by post then please give us a call on 0121 638 0200 or email and we can arrange this with you.

Can I add engraving to my rings?

We can add complimentary engraving to most of our designs.  If you would like to discuss some options or add some engraving to your order then give us a call on 0121 638 0200 or email us on sales@diamond-quarter.

I have a design in mind but I can't see it on your website, is it something you can make?

We specialise in bespoke so we can create designs based on what you would like. We provide CAD images so that you can see your ring imagined in 3D before it is put into production. If you would like some more information just contact the store and we will guide you through the process.

How long do the rings take on order?

Most designs take approx 4 weeks on order, this excludes bespoke designs which will take a lot longer due to the design process. If you need the ring sooner than this please contact the store directly nd we will double check to see if we have the design in stock for you.

Will my piece be Hallmarked?

All of our jewellery is Hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office.

Are your diamonds conflict free?

Yes, we are a member of Stop Blood Diamonds and all of our diamond suppliers have to be a member of the Kimberly Process which was set up to help eradicate the illegal diamond trade.

Do you accept LMG cards?

We can except LMG cards in store but not through the website, if you would like more information or for a quote to use an LMG card please contact the store on

Can I leave a deposit while the ring is on order?

We can place your order over the telephone which will then allow you to leave a deposit until the ring is ready.

Is my parcel insured and do I need to sign for it?

Our jewellery is delivered using Royal Mail Special delivery, this is a next day service delivered between 9am-1pm which is insured. We will contact you to confirm the tracking number and it will need a signature on arrival.

Can I have a VAT refund?

Our customers from outside the UK or with a BFPO address can claim a VAT refund.
